How much does a Hakai Pass fishing trip cost?
A 5-day, 4-night all-inclusive package at Joe's Salmon Lodge is $3,800 USD ($5,000 CAD) per person, covering flights from Richmond, lodging, meals, and a dedicated boat.
Is airfare included in BC fishing lodge rates?
At Joe's, yes — round-trip flights between Richmond's South Terminal and Bella Bella are included in the package price, along with the water taxi to the lodge.
Do I need a fishing license, and is it included?
Yes, a BC recreational fishing license is required and is not included in the package rate. It's purchased separately before your trip.
How much does a guide cost?
Trips are self-guided by default. If you'd like a guide on the water with you, it's $600/day and available on request.
What's the rate for a large group?
Groups of 8 to 12 stay together in the Small Barge and are priced with a custom group rate. Request a quote →
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The listed rate is the full cost of your stay outside of a fishing license, alcohol, gratuities, and any optional guided days you choose to add.
