Our 2011 Season was a grand time. We had beautiful weather and fantastic fishing for all of our guests. We saw a very strong number of Springs this year, the largest were reeled in at the Gap by Dave Fennell (56#) & our own FishMaster Cam (53#). Coho numbers were above average although small in size.
The Fisheries Department is expecting another amazing year for salmon migration in 2012 for the central coast. We are already accepting reservations for the 2012 season which tentatively will begin July 1st and end Sept 6th.

Welcome to our website!! Our site is designed to give you a glimpse into the wonder of Hakai Pass, BC Canada and the JOE'S SALMON LODGE FISHING EXPERIENCE!! Hakai Pass is located approximately 300 miles north of Vancouver, on the central coast of British Columbia. Hakai Pass is not only a fisherman's paradise, it is every fisherman's extreme getaway! Hakai pass has it all, King Salmon up to 72 lbs (Joe's Lodge record fish), huge Northern Coho exceeding 20 lbs, barn door Halibut and fantastic bottom fishing.
We fish from "Joe's Point", two minutes from the lodge to Spider Islands & the "Coop", our Halibut grounds. Fish literally swim right by our front door. Experience is a big asset and our fishing knowledge of Hakai is unchallenged. As our guest, you will enjoy the best fishing equipment and customer service on and off the water.
The fishing combined with the sheer natural beauty of Hakai Pass make for many absolutely unbelievable days on the water. Our lodge capacity is 36 guests with 3 fishmasters to supervise the fleet on the water.
